a lucky few got to hear this little gem as the tiny self released cdr edition, but here’s the real deal. an absolutely lovely album and surely joshua’s finest dose yet. oozing with a perfectly warm lo-fi bedroom glow, and full of joshua’s most direct & achingly melancholy song forms. totally hitting a whole new level of intimate vibrations, full of fragile hushed vocals, gentle acoustic guitar plucking, somber dirges, and electronic bagpipe mantras. beautifully formed lyrics step up the forefront as a rare treat, and the effect is just as stunning as it is simple. we just can’t get enough of this one. the kind of record you’ll want to spin again & again to soothe a busy mind… truly psychedelic folk music for late night soul searching
