This is Rebecca Digbys third release under the moniker Mole Says Hi (and our first vinyl release!). The EP is recorded in various rooms in Berlin during 2011. Creaking doors, sneaky recordings of Turkish boys, fist fights with bathtubs, a reworked synth, simple guitar chords and screaming ice are some of the elements heard within. The raw industrial sound of the sample-based songs creates a stark contrast against the unpretentious pop, making the songs sing with broken kitsch. Everything is bond together with Rebeccas naive vocals and social surrealist lyrics.
