RAY & PORCELL - s/t 7"

BLUE VINYL.

Originally released in 1991, the Ray & Porcell self-titled 7" features Ray Cappo (Youth Of Today, Shelter) and John "Porcell" Porcelly (Youth Of Today, Judge) on two Krishna-conscious tracks: "Fame" and "Broken Glass." Recorded at Don Fury Studio in NYC, the two tracks were a departure from the fast-paced hardcore Youth Of Today fans were accustomed to, while both tracks would later go on to be adopted by Shelter. The combination of a drum machine and the iconic black and white cover photo of Ray and Porcell staring out a NYC window marks a unique, stripped-down piece of early-'90s hardcore history.
