SANCTUARY OF PRAISE - A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall TAPE

London-based Sanctuary of Praise have plied their VU meets Faust meets Taj Mahal Travellers shows around the UK and Europe in recent years. Very little recorded evidence has been made available, and none of it has captured the energy of their live shows - until now!

The cassette, comes with riso printed J-card & features nearly 70 minutes of cut-up's from various live shows on London's Old Kent Road from 2024-25.

Mastered by Owen Pratt.

Hard Rain's Gonna Fall’ treats psychonauts to 70 mins of endearingly lo-fi, room-recorded chops by the cockney druids parsed from their secret live shows on London’s Old Kent Road, 2024-25 - although it could feasibly have been captured at any point between the ‘60s and now.

It’s the sort of live document that gives FOMO, reeling from passages of cosmic chaos into motorik drive, reverse-looped chicanery, and back again, on the A-side, and journeying between communal psych-folk clangour, psych-goth-rock death drive revs and Dinger-esque momentum giving way to tribal trample on the B-side.
