To kick off its 15th year as a label, Magic Bullet Records is going all the way back to release #1 and giving This Crying, This Screaming, My Voice is Being Born, by BOYSETSFIRE, its just dues on vinyl format.

Now housed in a chipboard LP jacket with a stark and simple 1-color black ink treatment, all 6 songs have a bit more room to breathe across both sides of a 12” format (spun at 45 RPM). Naturally, a complimentary digital download coupon is included.

Sonically, the songs remain the same. Perennial favorites and setlist staples like the album’s opener (“Vehicle”) and its closer (“Resection”) still sound as brilliant as the first time you heard them... likely while wearing baggy jeans and maybe even a “Vegan Action” patch on your bookbag. It’s sobering to fathom that this album was made in another century 15 years ago, but all it takes is one listen to realize that its power indeed remains the same.
