"Spell Blanket - Collected Demos 2006-2009" includes songs and sketches from Trish's extensive archive of 4-track cassettes and MiniDiscs. The recordings lay the foundation for what should have been Broadcast's fifth album and provide a glimpse into Trish and James' creative process in the post-Tender Buttons period from 2006 to 2009. The photos used in the artwork are from Trish and James, the artwork itself was designed by long-time broadcast collaborator Julian House.
