Ecstatic Truth is their sixth album and first with Oscarson. It is a continuation of the themes and techniques explored on their last two albums Forage and Presence (released on Infraction Records). Stylistically wending towards increased percussive/loop based song structures, higher production fidelity, and more contributions from talented friends. Begun in the fall of 2019 and finished in the summer of 2021, it also represents a refinement of their collaboration style. Blithely unhurried and devotional, this album was a joy to work on which, hopefully, translates to the listening experience.
