Mathis Hunter is a multi-instrumentalist who has played in oodles of bands from Atlanta over the past 15 years. He cut his teeth in the mid-90's playing the Punk Rock circuit before settling into a more classic Rock approach with Good Friday Experiment in 1999. After releasing three albums with Good Friday Experiment, Hunter joined The Selmanaires in late 2006 as a guitarist/percussionist. He accompanied them on several national tours supporting The Black Lips and Deerhunter and recorded with the group on their second album, The Air Salesmen and the subsequent single.
