"Undead Apes are a Brisbane punk rock band. I guess you could compare them with The Ramones, if The Ramones grew up in Brisbane. They’re a lot more Ramone-sy than Saint-sy. On their debut record, ‘Grave Consequences’ they run a tight ship, their songs being short, sharp and always engaged with the deep and meaningful. You know, the usual social concerns about primate zombies, lobotomies and extrasensory perception. Now thanks to Undead Apes, specifically the song ‘Hypothermia’, I have learned a new tactic in the art of picking up women during the future ice-age apocalypse.
