Whaleheart is a new band from Sweden that is quite hard to place in a specific genre (for us who have to place things everywhere, every time). At times heavy, straight and screaming. At times rhythmic, catchy and suitable for the pop dance floor. Weâll put our focus on their catchy indie parts â cause they reach quite high. Sounds a bit like the european indie scene did in the nineties, mixed with how a bunch of Canadian bands sound like today⊠As a matter of fact it surprised us a little that theyâre not Canadian natives, theyâre just Swedeâs that are about 20 years too late on the scene â âcause they would definitely play a bigger part if they were around 20 years ago.
